SMART-S Mk 2 radar shines in sea trials

Thales Nederland reported the successful trials of the SMART-S Mk 2 radar from aboard the Royal Danish Navy ship HDMS Absalon. This may prompt the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to confirm acceptance of the radar system.

ASCG to enhance UK's Type 23 close-in defence capabilities

The 30mm Automated Small Calibre gun (ASCG) system have been successfully test fired from aboard the U.K. Royal Navy frigate HMS Somerset. Integration of this system into the navy will boost the defense capabilities.
