The Internet has emerged as one of the venues by which the US military hopes to attract new recruits to fill its ranks, an operation where it has failed for four consecutive years. 'Stealth Force,' aimed at teenagers ranging from 13 to 17 years old, hopes to put the air services in the minds of the potential recruits as they approach graduation.

Cases of sexual assault at the Air Force Academy were first reported in 2002, wherein female cadets existing and former reported that they were ill treated, criticized, ostracized and even punished for reporting the assaults. The reports led to codes of discipline framed for the academy.
