Afghan and Iraqi deployment test for Netherlands new air maneuver force

Article Abstract:

A new modular force that would be deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq by the Netherlands is discussed. A Royal Netherlands Army (RNLA) airmobile infantry battalion, supported by four Boeing CH-47D Chinook transport helicopters from the RNLA Tactical Helicopter (THG) would take over from a Netherlands Marine battalion as part of the US led Operation Iraqi.

Polish forces look to gear up with Bazalt weapon sights for use in Afghanistan

The Polish Land Forces are expected to acquire Bazalt CKW (Colownik do Karabinow Wyborowych) sights for sniper rifles to support deployment of Polish forces to Afghanistan. The CKW sight is intended for use across a wide range of rifles and weapon rifles.
