Article Abstract:

The Working Families Tax Relief Act of 2004 is providing only temporary relief from reduced tax benefits for an estimated 10,000 military members serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and other combat zones. The Military Personnel Financial Services Protection Act would end the on-base sales to service members of high-pierced securities and controversial life insurance products.
