Article Abstract:

The last 10 years has brought constant new technology in the broadcasting industry, and high definition (HD) is the current format gathering attention. In addition to Sony's 24P and HD-24P formats, DigiBeta remains popular. Meanwhile, Panasonic has designed a chip lens for Sony's 24P cameras and leads the HD technology with production of the first camera with multiframe real progressive scan.
