Spicing up the story

Article Abstract:

Neil Davies and Matthew Bowers took the idea of filming wannabe girl bands and filmed several weeks with one band to sell the footage as a documentary. The five hours of material filmed was deemed as non-broadcastable, and when post-production specialists further distorted the sound, the tape was sent to Cedar Audio who produced broadcast quality footage. Davies was the producer and director of "Raw Spice", which is described as his labor of love.
