All3Media still hungry

All3Media's recent acquisition of Mersey TV, which is the company's third acquisition of an independent filmmaker during the year, is discussed. Steve Morrison, chief executive of All3Media has advised that the company is on a lookout to acquire some more independent filmmakers.

ITV pushes on with back-room merger

The Carlton Communications PLC-Granada PLC backroom merger moved forward as both firms said that they would move all scheduling and planning operations to London centers. The operations will be moved beginning in June 2003.
