ABC's reversal of fortune
Article Abstract:
ABC is enjoying a surge in popularity as a number of shows succeeded to top the ratings and push ABC up from its usual fourth place. Its new show Desperate Housewives pulled in 21 million viewers and bagged the top slot in the rankings, followed by Lost, which was watched by 18-19 million viewers. Boston Legal and two reality shows Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the US edition of Wife Swap have also gained significant viewership.
