Article Abstract:

A comparison between Sun and several 'red' dwarfs such as Proxima Centauri, Barnard's Star, and Wolf 359 with reference to their distance, temperature, peak, mass, tidal force is presented. While their temperatures range from about 3000 kelvins to 3300 kelvins, most of the light they emit lie in the infrared, with a wavelength at the peak intensity of around one micron.

Chicxulub: the smoking K-T gun?

Article Abstract:

The Chicxulub structure under Campeche Bay in the Yucatan of Mexico may be the biggest documented impact crater on the Earth in the last 550 million years. Research on Chicxulub is difficult to obtain, however, since it is buried by at least a mile of limestone.
