An investigation by a newspaper, Orange County Register, documented that 100 individuals and couples invested a significant amount of $150 million into state and national races in the 2003-04 election cycle. Although the general public of a country are unaware of such people, these top donors are the ones who use their donation money to exercise political influence in their favor.
