An analysis is presented on a 10-year investigation into the 1989 turret gun explosion on the battleship USS Iowa, along with techniques for identifying and cracking cover-ups. These include becoming familiar with situations and events leading up to the incident being investigated and careful selection and interviewing of witnesses.
