A whistleblower who was a veteran U.S. customs inspector narrates a story that when she was searching for drug smugglers at Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport, her fellow Customs inspectors was systematically singling out African-American passengers for intrusive body searches. According to her passengers were treated like criminals, like they were guilty of smuggling drugs.

Ghost scouts: Funds frozen, audit ordered after false enrollment shown

An internal Scout audit confirmed the findings of padded membership rolls and traced excess registration fees that totaled more than $250,000 sent to Boy Scouts of America headquarters. However, the auditors found $256,544 is sent in 'excess registration' fees from these 'ghost scouts' to national headquarters.

Evidences show that crackdowns on the U.S. supply of methamphetamine ingredients had profoundly disrupted the drug trade twice during the 1990s. The search revealed that the meth trade is vulnerable to government pressure, and that the federal government has rejected policies that exploit this weakness.
