Article Abstract:

The 100th Anniversary Meeting of the APS was marked by much excitement and enthusiasm due mainly to the new physics ideas that were unveiled during the event. These developments include new discoveries involving super- and atom lasers and four-wave atom mixers, as well as complex molecules from space.
