A study is presented which investigates the demand relations of international message telephone service markets in ten countries of the European Union before liberalisation came into effect on January 1998. The study is specifically concerned with the five year period from 1990.

Subscriber churn in the Australian ISP market

Article Abstract:

A model that relates the possibility of subscriber churn to various service attributes and subscriber characteristics of Internet service providers (ISP) in Australia has been developed. Results indicate that churn probability is positively associated with monthly ISP expenditures but inversely related to household income but subscribers in low-income households are more likely to churn. Subscribers also prefer ISPs that offer flat-rate pricing arrangements.
