Article Abstract:
The Defense Industrial Security Program is not the only industrial security responsibility of the Defense Investigative Service. The Defense Industrial Facilities Protection Program (DIFPP) develops and promotes industrial protection within the United States. The AA and E protects sensitive conventional arms, ammunition and explosives held by defense contractors. Changes in government policy will affect the administration of these two Defense Investigative Service programs. Industrial security representatives will now receive specialized training to ensure efficiency in emergency preparedness.

Article Abstract:
The majority of computer crimes are never taken to the courts for prosecution. Security measures to prevent computer abuse are less costly than prosecution. Computer security technology is available, but not always employed by computer proprieters. Hardware and software are available to insure computer security. Legislation should be enacted that employs the internal controls section of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
