New agents and underwriters can learn faster when aided by a computerized mentor. However, life insurance sales are unlikely to change significantly because the purchase is still based on emotion and procrastination more than on tangible facts. Though the number of direct buyers may increase, it is more likely to happen with home, auto and other insurance types that are required or bought automatically.
