Article Abstract:
Members of the anti-choice movement are hindering the progress of medical science and contraceptive technology in the US. A case in point is the French abortifacient RU-486. Not only has the Food and Drug Administration banned its importation, but its French maker, Roussel-Uclaf, has stated that the US' anti-choice politics make it useless to try to sell the drug here. Not only does RU-486 provide safe, non-surgical abortions, it has promise for treating breast cancer, brain tumors, and other grave medical problems.

The year 1992 saw battles between the business community and stockholders, insurers and defense contractors. All parties were under attack by federal regulators. Executive pay no longer seemed safe as the SEC asked for public comment on new proxy rules subjecting this pay to proxy proposals.

Article Abstract:
The Libertarian Party, which favors a philosophy of individual opportunity and liberty, is the US's third-largest and most rapidly growing political party. The party favors the view of the Founding Fathers that men should not hurt one another but should otherwise be free to regulate their affairs in any way they see fit, also that government does not have the power to tax. The party also thinks that property rights should be constitutionally protected.
