CEOs express skepticism about selling on the Internet

Article Abstract:

The number of insurance company-sponsored Home Pages on the Internet's World Wide Web has increased, but few of the sites have interactive features that make on-line services a true marketing and distribution channel. The CEOs are worried about the security and confidentiality of Internet transactions, issues that must be addressed before the Internet can live up to its promise as a marketing venue.
