Article Abstract:

Switzerland has revised its law on social security for the tenth time. The changes involve moving women's retirement age from 62 to 63 and 64 by the years 2001 and 2005, respectively, and allow optional early retirement up to two years ahead of the normal retirement ages by the year 2001. A new law on basic health insurance will also take effect on Jan. 1, 1996.
