A study showing that the earlier method of workplace learning using classroom training technology is no longer adequate in global economy, where changes are extremely fast and adaptability is a must for remaining competitive. The study highlights the need for dynamic approach on training issues like constantly thinking of ways to train and update the employees.

Based on training methods implemented in Panasonic for developing staff, it is concluded that different learning styles require different approaches and restricting to traditional classroom approach will simply not do. In this context, e-learning, coaching, and managerial involvement are discussed in depth.
