Temporary work law hampers agencies

Article Abstract:

The new laws in Czech Republic granting more rights to students working on temporary basis have increased the administration costs for the employment agencies. As a result, the students are being recruited directly by the employers bypassing these agencies. The salient provisions of the law relating to students working on temporary basis are discussed.
