Non-payment of wages

Article Abstract:

Polish national labor inspectorate has recently carried out investigations on compliance of the companies in the country with the payment of wages provisions. The report shows that almost 2/3rd of the companies are not conforming to the payment of wages rules. A gist of the report highlighting the contraventions vis-a-vis the requirement of law is presented. Suggestions are also offered to enable the companies to become compliant with the relevant provisions in law related to payment of wages.

Minimum wage report for 2003

Article Abstract:

The United Kingdom government published its latest annual assessment of how the system of national minimum wage has performed in the year 2002-2003. The report has revealed that all employers are not conforming to the law and there still is a substantial amount of money owed to workers as well as there is no adverse impact on the employment prospects of low-paid workers or on the economy.
