Article Abstract:
It is important to examine links between the nature of human resource management (HRM), the nature of organizational performance and the connection between HRM and performance. Only in this way is it possible to determine whether various measures of organizational performance can be linked with high commitment HRM approaches. Research indicates possible associations between HRM and outcomes, but it is not yet possible to make informed judgements about cause and effect.
