Article Abstract:
Pension coverage rates for women workers are based on social status. Normally, married women have higher coverage rates than single women. Traditional measures of pension coverage do not usually consider dual coverage in married households. Although the traditional measure provides for a higher individual pension coverage rate, household measures are more comprehensive and are best suited for married households. Companies should be fully aware of the laws that govern pension coverages to avoid potential lawsuits.
