Draft EU charter of fundamental rights agreed

Article Abstract:

The European Commission's charter for fundamental rights in employment has passed at the Biarritz Council. The draft will cover employees rights to trade unions, strikes, and collective bargaining as well as the right of workers to information and consultation. This article includes an outline of the draft as it was recently passed.
