Country-of-origin, localization, or dominance effect? An empirical investigation of HRM practices in foreign subsidiaries
Article Abstract:
The impact of country-of-origin, localization, or dominance effects on the human resources management practices in subsidiaries of multinational corporations based in the US, Japan, and Germany is studied. The dominance effect is most important, while country-of origin effects is absent in Japanese and German corporations.
