The December 2004 social affairs council reached a political agreement on a common position on the draft Directive on minimum health and safety requirements on the exposure of workers to risks arising from optical radiation. The details of the agreement are discussed.

Social Council reaches agreement on race Directive

Article Abstract:

The European Social Council, European Parliament, and the Commission unanimously agreed on the proposed Directive for equal treatment regardless of race. Social protection and workplace equipment safety was also discussed.
