The European Commission in a draft Directive has proposed measures to create equal opportunities for men and women in matters concerning employment and occupation. The European Commission has also issued a consultation document on ensuring gender equality in an enlarged EU.

Adapting to disability not so difficult

Information regarding the effects of the 1995 Disability discrimination act on United Kingdom businesses is discussed. Of over 800 personnel managers surveyed, 80% felt that adapting to the new law was easy.
