Avian flu- planning for a pandemic

Article Abstract:

Avian influenza, which comprises approximately a group of 15 different flu viruses that primarily affect birds, is known to have entered Europe with cases confirmed in Turkey and Romania. People at the risk of becoming infected with the pandemic flu through their occupations would most likely be immunized at work, which means that ' arrangements to discuss looking after the workforce in the event of a flu pandemic should be started, taking into account training in administering vaccines'.

Article Abstract:

The Employment National Training Organization has emphasized on the need to streamline all its courses and qualifications. For this purpose, the National Health and Safety Qualifications Advisory Group comprising of several safety groups, developed a simple structure for all safety health qualifications. A review of some of the qualifications is also presented.
