Article Abstract:
Great Britain has 3.3 million or 14 percent unemployed at the start of 1986 and the financing of unemployment benefits remains a major priority of the society as a whole. A technique is needed to provide a direct pay-back for companies who share work or create jobs. Personnel managers must wait until the impediment of directing resources to unemployment is removed.

Article Abstract:
Job evaluation systems were revised in Great Britain once new equal pay and equal work rules were implemented. While inflation averaged roughly 12 percent each year during the 1970s, a 27 percent rate was recorded in 1975, resulting in even greater wage erosion. A study is made of pay-systems for the longest wages policy-free period over two decades.
