Accord reached on restructure of shipbuilding industry

Article Abstract:

The outcome of the negotiations between Spanish Government and the trade unions on restructuring of Spain's shipbuilding industry are discussed. As per the agreement there will be 4,000 layoffs in the sector. Other aspects in the agreement affecting industrial relations like sale of civil yards to private investors are also discussed.

New national pay moderation accord for 2003
