Article Abstract:

Landscape architect Daniel Pearson created a look similar to an English garden for the grounds of Antonio and Priscilla Carluccio. Nearly all of the plants are indigenous to all parts of the US, except in very arid areas. Vines, gravel paths, raised flower beds and plants are described and pictured.

Where kitchen & garden meet

Article Abstract:

Landscape architect James deGray David hired architect Paul Lamb to build an addition to his Austin, TX, home that would provide a transition between his kitchen and his garden. David's garden is comprised of native plants. The results are pictured and described.

Article Abstract:

Two art professors remodeled a vacation cabin near Lake Michigan. The house required a great deal of heavy work, which the two did themselves. Once repairs were made, they installed knotty-pine walls, wooden windows and ceramic tiles.
