Shermag sets wood factory

Article Abstract:

Shermag will have more than 850,000 square feet of manufacturing space when it completes its new case goods factory in New Brunswick in October 1998. The new 70,000-sq-ft facility, which is part of the Nadeau & Nadeau unit, will cost more than C$5 million to build. According to the company's chairman, Serge Racine, the expansion will allow the company to meet the increasing demand for its products, especially from foreign markets. More than 70% of the company's projected C$150 million in sales in 1998 will be from the US.
