Off-price vendors - Federated has its eye on you

Article Abstract:

Federated Department Stores has declared war on off-price vendors, especially those who turn against department stores by selling the same or similar goods in the same season at a lower price to off-price retailers. Federated management intends to examine distribution practices of vendors, and may terminate some lines. Luria takes exception to this policy, saying it smacks of price fixing.
