Article Abstract:
Several state regulators have stepped up their investigations into the furniture retailers' use of manufacturers' suggested retail prices (MSRPs) for comparative pricing. Legal experts believe that furniture manufacturers will be eventually held liable for the use of MSRPs. They also advise manufacturers to discontinue MSRPs and retailers to avoid using them in advertising.
