Lilly Inds. is continuing the expansion of its Guardsman WoodPro franchise network that was introduced in 1993 for providing on-site furniture repair and restoration. The company expects to provide 400 one-stop shopping stores within five to seven years nationwide for its home and business customers. The stores will offer any type of furniture repair and restoration, said Lilly's director of franchise operations Tony Ziegler. Training provided by Lilly covers technical and business aspects including market support for franchisees with start-up costs ranging from $12,000 to $20,000.
