LHFI wins 18 store leases in BHFC auction

Article Abstract:

Levitz Home Furnishing Inc. along with two real estate firms have won leases on 18 Huffman Koos and Goods furniture stores, which are a part of Lanchester base Breuners Home Furnishing Corp who have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this summers. All BHFC chains are liquidating and hence the auction for the store was conducted.

HomeLife misses payment

Article Abstract:

HomeLife Furniture has failed to make a payment to furniture industry suppliers, due June 15, 2001. The missed payment caused several of the suppliers to stop shipments to HomeLife.
