Manufacturers and retailers have been paying more attention to home office furniture, because consumers have been purchasing these items in record numbers. Even if just half of those planning to buy desks and other home office goods actually make purchases, retailers could add three-quarters of a billion dollars to their sales for 2001.

The increasing sales of the furniture and the bedding industry are due to the increase in Hispanic population in United States. The statistics that show the increase in the buying power of Hispanics and the amount spent by the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA) on Hispanic Television and print advertising are presented.
