Dynasty enters leather with Ngozi line

Article Abstract:

Dynasty, an upholstery maker based, is set to launch its Ngozi leather line at High Point in October 1998. Dynasty's Ngozi line will include sofas, chairs and loveseats as well as recliners and ottomans in 12 leather styles and 18 fabric designs. Dynasty's Scottsdale, AZ-based sales manager, Steve Baizer, stated that a leather sofa's wholesale price is at $599, while its retail price costs approximately $999, while a fabric-covered sofa open at $195 wholesale. Dynasty has already scheduled a four-day factory tour and meeting for 10 major US furniture retailers to preview its new leather line.

Natuzzi opens own Brazil plant to serve U.S

Natuzzi has started operations at a new plant in Salvador De Bahia, Brazil. The plant measures out to 193,750-square-feet and will produce leather seating.
