A home built on the foundations of an old chicken coop was designed by architect Larry Booth as a second home in a rural area near Chicago. The result is a small but airy two-bedroom home. Many built-ins were used to make the home seem larger. Details are pictured and described.

Article Abstract:

Architect Bob Hull designed a cabin on Decatur Island in Puget Sound. The house is small, but large windows overlooking the water and the woods give the home an open feel. The cost was $110,000 for the 1,200 square-foot house. Results are pictured and described.
