A custom-designed eighteenth-century house

Article Abstract:

Doug and Lori Small wanted to live in an early 18th century house but could not find one that met their requirements about size, price, location and physical condition. Instead of abandoning the idea of living in such a house, they decided to have one custom-designed. They ended up with a house with an 18th-century look but with 20th-century conveniences.
