John and Mary Beth Bunker's Westtown, PA, home is a showcase of period-style furniture and colorful Christmas ornaments. Being one of the houses viewed for the Chadds Ford Christmas Candlelight tour, the Bunkers took out their collection of antique Santas and elves to light up the house's corners.

Article Abstract:

Christmas trees during the 1800s were depicted to be smaller tabletop versions of the today's taller ones. In the 19th century, these small trees were surrounded by a miniature fence. The required materials and directions on how to make a miniature fence are presented.
