Article Abstract:

A few simple maintenance techniques will protect a lawn mower from winter damage and save on costly repair bills in the spring. Winterizing techniques include changing the oil, cleaning the engine, emptying or treating the gasoline tank and cleaning the air filter.

A visit to the Lancetilla Botanic Garden in Honduras provides a much-desired discovery of the fruit delicacy which is actually native to Malaysia. The United Fruit Co established the garden to experiment with cultivation of crops in Central America.

Losing ground

Article Abstract:

Two and one half million acres of arable land is developed annually in the US. Five billion tons of topsoil fall prey to erosion. We can reduce this loss by setting up land trusts and educating the populace.
