Article Abstract:
Two radio shows, Jamboree USA of West Virginia and the Renfro Valley Gatherin' of Kentucky are described. Jamboree is aired every Saturday night and is currently celebrating 60 years of country music. The Renfro Valley Gatherin'show is broadcast daily in Kentucky.

All that Southern jazz
Article Abstract:
Jazz music events happen all over the US Southern States. Most famous is the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The Texas Jazz Festival also attracts a sizable number of enthusiasts. The Southern region's jazz music scene for 1992 is presented.
