Article Abstract:
A home network that connects the proliferating electronics devices used for entertainment, communication and security is explained. The basic setup of two separate wiring systems one with low-voltage cables to connect the security devices and one with 'structured wire' to handle the phones, computers, TV's and audio components is given.
