Article Abstract:
A major role is played by memory in what is and is not to be collected, but a recent press release has raised serious concerns on collecting especially the issue of what constitutes the past. It is concluded that the individuals remember most accurately the time they experienced in grade school or through young adulthood, by the time an individuals tastes are firmly established every thing that happens later is either ignored or relegated to a position of lower importance.
