eBay, a website that begun to buy and sell antiques and collectibles, later learned that the software developed for the buying and selling service for antiques and collectibles could be used for the buying and selling of an endless variety of goods. Hence, the collectibles division's share of the eBay buying and selling pie, which once represented 100%, is diminishing on a daily basis, as collectibles is not a major growth are for eBay and they are aware of the situation.

Article Abstract:

Rinker expresses his views on the right way for selecting the collectibles to prize it on the basis of the family value since it is more than monetary value so it is priceless. But he thinks that the trend is changing as the time passes by because most of them emphasize on collectible's monetary value, financial considerations and he points out the different considerations on which collectibles are collected.

Issues concerning the roles of shills in auctions are discussed. It is emphasized that shills intervene in auctions to increase the price and offer incentives. The use of shills in Internet auctions and Internet auction practices are particularly focused upon.
