There are different gloves for different chores. Leather gloves are the best all-purpose gloves. Chemical gloves are designed to protect the hands from potentially hazardous chemicals while cloth gloves are good for simple garden work. Long-sleeved gloves protect hands from thorns while plastic or rubber-reinforced cloth gloves are preferred for their durability.
