Mara Superior has created 'Souvenirs d'Italia', a group of platters and vessels, made of porcelain that recalls a six-week visit that she and her husband made to Italy. The vignettes that Mara paints on porcelain are imaginary depictions of her mental geography of people, places, animals and the natural world.
