Article Abstract:

A house facade remodeling is discussed with the changes effected to give the house a more spacious feel and appearance. Vertical proportions were equalized by adding a roof to the porch, resizing the window shutters and trimming the vegetation to expose more of the house.

Article Abstract:

Architect Stephen Smith has helped remodelled a half-century, one-story Cape Cod-style house in Tampa, FL. Two bedrooms, a bath, a laundry room, and a two-story family rooms were added to provide space for built-in seatings and cabinets.
